Montana Seedstock & Commercial Cattle Directory History
For nearly 20 years, the Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSGA) has been publishing and distributing the Montana Seedstock and Commercial Cattle Directory from their office in Helena. This summer, the 2007-2008 issue was released and is currently available to the public.
“This directory is the most comprehensive and up-to-date reference to Montana’s progressive ranchers. It simply showcases the superior genetics produced by the Montana Stockgrowers Association members,” says Darrell Stevenson, MSGA Seedstock Chairman. The Montana Seedstock and Commercial Cattle Directory features both advertisements and listings highlighting Montana’s commercial feeder cattle, associated services, commercial replacement females and seedstock producers.
Along with the directory, priority pages are auctioned off during MSGA’s annual convention held in December each year. This year’s priority page buyers include Sitz Angus, Performance Breeders, Hamilton Ranch, Rice Ranches, Inc, Stevenson Basin, KG Ranch, Eaton Charolais, Courtney Herefords, IX Ranch Company, Gateway Simmentals, Cooper Hereford Ranch, Holden Herefords, Solaris Feeders, LLC, North Country Quarter Horses, Big West Management and Prewitt & Company, LLC.
