Northeast Director
Jeff Pattison was elected to the MSGA Board of Directors in 2008 representing the Northeast District. He was re-elected in 2010 and his term will expire in 2012.
Jeff has a partnership with his brothers farming and ranching from Hill County to ValleyCounty that began 30 years ago. Along with his brothers, Jeff seeds, sprays, plows, drives truck, and runs combine. The partnership currently has an Angus base with Limousin cross. Lately Jeff and his brothers have been looking for more meat with better carcass traits to meet market changes. Jeff and his wife Dawn have four children, Vanessa, Jessica, Justin, and Wyatt.
In 1993, Jeff and his brothers, along with partners Mark and Linda Nielsen, purchased Glasgow Stockyards Inc. In 1996 Jeff began his involvement with the Young Stockgrowers. In 1998 he was selected as MSGA’s Young Cattlemen’s Conference delegate. In ’99 he was elected chairman of the Young Stockgrowers. Jeff has also served as MSGA Tax and Ag Committee Chairman. Jeff served four years in the Montana State Legislature where he was chair of the Appropriations Committee and the Audit Committee. He was Chief of Staff to House Speaker Scott Sales. Jeff has also served as chairman of the Milk River Watershed Alliance, supervisor of his local Conservation District, and on his local church board.
