safe and wholesome beef to the world. The mission of the Montana
Stockgrowers Association is to protect and enhance your ability to do
just that. We strive to be an advocate for Montana’s ranchers by helping
make your voice heard.
Ranching is vital to Montana’s economy and rural communities, but it
seems to be getting tougher and tougher. Costs have escalated and
our issues have become much more complex over the past ten years. MSGA
is a non-profit membership organization, and we strive to represent our members in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible . The minimum membership investment category would be for a
rancher with 1 to 150 head of cattle at just $149 per year. That is only
40 cents per day. Less than a cup of coffee. Less than the cost of
today’s 44 cent postage stamp. Cattle and beef production are important contributors to Montana's top economic driver--agriculture. We are a $1 billion annual
enterprise. A $149 investment in preserving our position as Montana’s
number one economic driver is money well spent!
