South Central Director
Larry Berg was elected to the Board of Directors representing the South Central District in 2008 and re-elected in 2010. His term will expire in 2012.
Larry grew up on the family ranch and worked for his dad. He currently owns the cattle buying business that was purchased by his granddad, Albert, in 1951 and was taken over by his dad, Byron, in 1971. Larry purchased his ranch in 1990 and is currently leasing his mom’s place. Larry and his wife Roxanne have two children Trent and Trevor.
Larry was a member of the Wheatland County Stockgrowers from 1995-2005 where he served as director for two years, secretary-treasurer one year, and president one year. Larry served as chairman of MSGA’s Beef Production and Marketing Committee and was MSGA’s Young Cattleman’s Conference representative in 2000. Larry has served as chairman of the Judith Gap School Board, president of Jawbone Creek Country Club, and director of Wheatland County ambulance service.
